How to fill it in.
Keep the sheet on a clipboard at the sideline and tally as you watch. Tallies are quicker than numbers: add them up at half time and full time.
- Before kickoff: your team, the opponent, the date and the field, then each player’s number and name
- G and A: a tally for each goal, and for the pass that set it up
- Sh and SOT: every shot, goals included, and the ones that scored or made the keeper save
- Min: the minutes each player was on the field
- YC and RC: yellow and red cards
- Keeper box: saves and goals against for whoever is in goal, on a second line if they swap
- At full time: add up each column in the team total row
Or log it on a phone, and it adds itself up.
Paper works until someone has to add up a season of sheets. Log the game in PlayState instead, and each player’s line fills in as it happens, like this one from a sample game.
- The same goals, assists, shots, minutes, and cards for every player, as you tap
- Family follow the game live through a link, in any browser
- Every player’s totals across the season, without copying a sheet into a spreadsheet
- Keeps logging without signal, and catches up when it’s back
Yes. Print it or download the PDF as often as you like. There’s no email to give and no account to make.
Yes: after each game, copy every player’s totals onto a season sheet or into a spreadsheet. If you log games in PlayState instead, that adding up happens for you, and each player’s season totals are there after every game.
Keep logging. Events, substitutions, and the game clock keep going on your phone, and everything sends by itself, in order, when the signal comes back. Supporters catch up then; while the signal is weak, they see a note that updates may be delayed. Open the game before you lose signal; the page can’t load without one.
Shared live game links open in any browser, with no account or app download, and show supporters the whole game: the score, game clock, full play-by-play, and stats. A free account adds team following and game notifications.
