Shared live game links open in any browser, with no account or app download, and show supporters the whole game: the score, game clock, full play-by-play, and stats. A free account adds team following and game notifications.
Anyone you send a live game link sees that game in full, player names included, so share it as you would any link to your kid’s games. Elsewhere in PlayState, player names appear only to signed-in people with access to that player. Live game and team pages are kept out of search engines. An athlete profile is private until you make it public, and a public profile opens only for people signed in to PlayState.
You choose the level of detail. Start with key moments, then add players, assists, locations, substitutions, and notes as you get comfortable. The analysis reflects what you record; unlogged events won’t appear in the stats.
They’re logged by someone at the game who knows the players, usually a parent, so each goal, assist, and shot goes to the right player. The stats show what was logged: an event nobody logged won’t appear, and anything missed or wrong can be fixed after the game.
Yes. Add a missed event or edit a recorded event and its game time. The game stats update from the corrected events.
No. PlayState uses events you record from the sideline on your phone. There’s no video camera to set up.
PlayState is for soccer: 11v11, 9v9, 7v7, 5v5, 3v3, and futsal games. Each format gets its own pitch, markings, and formations, and xG is worked out for its pitch and goal size. Play two halves or three periods, as long as your league plays them, with extra time and penalty shootouts when a game needs them.
Keep logging. Events, substitutions, and the game clock keep going on your phone, and everything sends by itself, in order, when the signal comes back. Supporters catch up then; while the signal is weak, they see a note that updates may be delayed. Open the game before you lose signal; the page can’t load without one.
